To all of my friends and supporters who circulated petitions in the cold of February 2017, walked door to door with me through the rain in the Spring and in the heat of the Summer, who phone banked, worked tables at events, made phone calls, dropped literature, stood at polls because you shared my beliefs that justice should be fair and impartial and accessible to everyone regardless of their station in life, I say thank you!
To the 22,619 voters who cast their ballots for me on November 7, 2017, I say thank you!
I have had the opportunity given to only a few to serve the people of Dauphin County as Judge. I believe I used that opportunity to its fullest to improve the lives of many people facing the pain of domestic abuse, the anguish of custody disputes, the hard decision to seek guardianship of an elderly parent of disabled adult child, and many other civil and criminal issues. It has been an experience that has changed my life as well through meeting so many wonderful people who serve on the court to support the judges and keep the legal system of the county working seamlessly. To all of them, I say thank you.
I will be repurposing my life as I prepare to transition off the bench on January 1, 2018, and start a new chapter. I will be rejoining the firm I founded almost 40 years ago.
The Committee to Elect Judge Serratelli will close it’s books by December 31, 2017. You have all been so generous in your financial support and I am so very grateful. We are facing a deficit of approximately $70,000. Any further contribution you might be able to donate in the next month would be very much appreciated.
